Quick and Easy Breakfast Ideas
Breakfast. My favorite meal of the day! I often hear the question “what do I eat for breakfast?”. I've received several requests for quick and easy breakfast ideas and thought I'd share a list of my favorites (in no particular order). These quick, balanced, and satisfying breakfast ideas use freezer, fridge, and pantry staples. Swap out or add ingredients to customize the meals to you & your family's tastes and needs.
Breakfast ideas:
Toasted sourdough bread with sliced avocado & sea salt; cut up summer melons (cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon)
Bagel with cream cheese & sliced tomatoes
Toasted English muffin with nut butter & jam; mixed fresh berries
Yogurt (2-4%) with tropical fruit (mango, pineapple), granola, and ground flaxseed
Toasted frozen waffles with Nutella® & strawberries; side of pork, chicken, or soy sausage
Oatmeal with diced apples, walnuts, and honey to taste
Scrambled or hard boiled eggs, store-bought biscuits or muffins; grapes
A Clif® bar and a carton of yogurt topped with sliced banana
Your favorite drive-thru breakfast sandwich and a piece of fruit
A prepared snack box from a grocery store or local café
